Working in close collaboration with our international partners within the Sport Jiu-Jitsu International Federation (SJJIF), our mission is to provide a structured, fair, and competitive platform for athletes of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for practitioners to showcase their talents.
As the leading amateur sporting organization for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Canada, we focus on fostering high-level competition while upholding the values of discipline, respect, and sportsmanship. Our federation is committed to hosting premier national/provincial-level tournaments, providing athlete development programs, and establishing clear ranking structures to recognize excellence in the sport.
Through strong leadership, partnerships, and community engagement, the SJJCANF aims to elevate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Canada to international prominence while creating opportunities for athletes to compete at the highest levels of the amateur sport, with a view to eventual inclusion in the Olympic Games as an official sport.
